Abstract | Mathematics learning support can take many forms both in the nature of its instruction and the nature of its operational structure. This paper reports on the nature and history of mathematics learning support in Australia as it relates to undergraduate mathematics, both overt and embedded. It describes the aims of many mathematics support practitioners and present a model for program development based on the work of Keimig [7] with some recommendations for future practice. |
