Abstract | The study is carried out to evaluate the energy(electricity and gas) usage for cotton ginning processes in Australia. The pattern of energy usage is identified and its relationship with incoming cotton is analysed. Based on the electricity usage and bales produced, a benchmark of electricity use for cotton ginning is developed. |
