Abstract | So far, we have analyzed 29 sludge samples (from the biosorption step and the clarifier) from the pilot plant in Jurong WRP. We have analyzed TS, VS, TSS, VSS, TCOD and SCOD. The calorific value of 7 samples has been analyzed so far. Our decomposition vessel broke down during the analysis and we had to order a new one which caused delay in the analysis of the remaining samples. A new vessel has been ordered and calorific value analysis will resume in November 2013. In addition, the anaerobic biodegradability of 9 samples from the clarifier only has been completed while the remaining samples are in progress. |
