Abstract | Recent events related to the Covid-19 pandemic have seen changes to many aspects of life related to caring for children with disability or chronic health issues. Telehealth has gained traction in some contexts over time, but since the initial lockdowns associated with the Covid-19 pandemic it has been taken up at far greater rates and its desirability has increased. This chapter explores the positive impact of access to telehealth appointments with medical and professional service providers on work outcomes for caregivers who undertake paid work. It further demonstrates what this has meant for the work-care balance for the caregiver. |
