Abstract

This chapter locates items of the Everyday – in this case, vinyl albums – within the broader sphere of public pedagogical cultural artifacts. In so doing, it explores an older and somewhat overlooked concept of what constitutes public pedagogy, and explores the para textual functioning of album cover art.
