Abstract | An evaluation was made of commonly used global and Australian regional geoid models. Absolute and relative comparisons over 46.2 km, using 116 control points (6,670 baselines) and over elevations between 200 m and 600 m show that AUSGeoid98 is the superior geoid model for the conversion of GPS-derived ellipsoid heights to AHD elevations in the test area. |
