| Description of Exhibition/Event | Down The Rabbit Hole is cross-institutional research project co-curated by Sebastian Di Mauro and Beata Batorowicz. This project consisted of a two-part exhibition series and an substantial catalogue publication showcasing artists from the University of Southern Queensland and Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. This project explores visual storytelling through metaphorical, symbolic and mythical realms through diverse form of media. Central to this project is the engagement of diverse audiences through an exploration of creative art as research and the wide range of methods employed by artists when engaging in studio research. In doing so, the project builds research synergies beyond the creative art field and enhances the integral relationship between industry and university in terms of studio research. |
