Abstract | In the 2007 Roach decision the High Court indicated there may be some guarantee of voting rights implicit in the Constitution. This article explores the constitutional basis for such a suggestion, how the case impacted pre-existing law, and considers how the decision fits with international materials in this area. It considers whether the right exists or should exist at the State level. |
