Abstract | The project examines youth consumption of high-speed internet technology and online interactive services and the impact of these on youth well-being. This project addresses online practices and their impact on youth and society by conducting empirical research to ascertain the relationship of offline and online behaviour to well-being. The project further explores aspects of positive and negative outcomes including literacy development, computational skills and online hazards. The report identifies online and offline consumption patterns of youth, discusses the benefits and risks of the youth cohort in using the web.
