Abstract | E-commerce grows rapidly in over the world. Businesses believe by converting model of transactions using e-commerce technology will provide competitive advantages. On the other hand, this way faces potential threats such as cyber fraud. This paper aims to propose a model of customer’s intention to purchase using internet based e-commerce in relation with cyber fraud perception, medium (internet) trust, and seller trust. The model is developed by adopting Theory of Trust, Concept of Medium Trust, Theory of Planned Behaviour and Concepts of Fraud. To examine the proposed model, data will be gathered from e-commerce customers via online survey and then will be analysed using structural equation model (SEM). |
