Abstract | Despite its pitfalls, psychological assessment in organisational settings continues to rely heavily on self-report methodology. It is efficient, convenient, and often the only means of gathering information about psychological constucts of interest to employers, trainers, managers, and staff. However, this form of assessment is plagued by two major problems: response distortion and response consistency. |
