| Abstract | The concept of civility in the workplace is attracting attention as a focus for interventions that improve employee morale, productivity, and psychological wellbeing. Civility refers to behaviour that is considerate and respectful to others. Its converse, incivility, embraces a range of behaviours that show disrespect. Civility has positive consequences for individuals and organizations whilst incivility has the opposite effect. This technical report describes the development and validation of a measure of civility in the workplace. |
