Abstract | This study discussed the influence of technology attributes, trust and dependency on the e-procurement adoption decisions between suppliers and manufacturers in the supply chain relationship. Many factors from a wide range of sources can affect adoption decisions. However, there is no evidence of any specific study on the interaction between the factors of technology attributes, trust and dependency on the e-procurement adoption decisions and thus this study will try to fill this gap. The theoretical framework for this study is built upon three related theories, namely diffusion of innovation theory, trust theory and power theory. This study contributes to the existing literature by investigating the interaction between technology attributes, the level of trust and the level of dependency between supply chain partners and how it will affect their e-procurement adoption decisions. |
