Abstract | This chapter focuses on the emerging possibilities and issues arising from the rapid adoption of mobile technologies for learning in tertiary and higher education contexts in developing countries. In particular, it explores the implications for developing nations of the rapid proliferation of mobile devices. Many opportunities are forecast along with some lessons learned from an Australian investigation into the use of rich media technologies in higher education. |
