Biography
Dr Georgina Barton is a Professor of literacies and pedagogy in the School of Education at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Her main research areas are literacy, the arts and wellbeing. She has over 160 publications and over $1.5 million in grants in these fields. Her most recent book is title: Aesthetic literacies in school and work: New pathways for education. She conducts socially-just research in schools both in Australia and internationally.
