This resource combines the best of a research-based focus for applying theory to practice. Strategic management is evolving as rapidly as the world conditions that drive it. Global balances of power are shifting dramatically and technology routinely changes what was impossible yesterday into something that is commonplace today. These dynamic conditions make becoming skilled in strategic management more important than ever for business success. No matter how nimble the organisation, responding to the dynamic opportunities and changes in every market takes time and resources. Organisations that forecast these changes and prepare for them pre-emptively gain a first-mover advantage and stay ahead of the competition.
