Abstract | This chapter presents a computer-assisted language learning (CALL) training course offered at an Australian university and describes the underlying approach taken in the course and the content of the course. It also looks at features of the course and discusses issues and challenges of teaching the course. The CALL course takes a modular approach and consists of three main modules: background; research; and language teachers in CALL environments. Regular updates are expected to reflect the increasing use of digital technologies and resources. |
