Abstract | A project, based at the University of Southern Queensland’s academic support unit, was developed to identify the cognitive and metacognitive processes used by students who have difficulty with drug calculations. This article presents the findings of this research, based on group interviews of nursing students and one trial on nursing students who repeatedly fail drug calculations. The article finally outlines a framework to be used for future support for nursing students. |
