Abstract | The fast development of information and communication technologies (ICTs) and electronic data services in recent years has changed the working processes within businesses and organizations. In the health care sector, such as hospitals, ICTs and electronic data services provide doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other medical professionals more accurate information, which eventually leads to improved services to health care consumers. However, literature indicates that there are challenges in implementing and utilizing data service in various aspects in health care organizations. To depict a more complete scenario of the issues, this study uses a multiple case study method to explore and identify the feedback and challenges based on the viewpoints of health care employees and consumers. It aims to assist decision makers in implementing electronic and mobile data services in health care organizations. |
