Abstract | The massification of higher education has led to a rise in equity related issues in teaching and although institutions have developed policies, few academics have a coherent way of adhering to them. This paper briefly discusses the implications of catering for an increasingly diverse student body and proposes multimodal design as an appropriate response. Case studies are used to support the proposal. |
