Abstract | My Career Chapter is described as a semi-structured procedural model for narrative career counselling. The paper begins with the main theoretical underpinnings of the model, including the emphasis upon a dialogical perspective on career identity and narrative. The three phases of the model are outlined, beginning with the initial interview, followed by the writing of a career-related autobiographical manuscript, and finally the interpretation of the manuscript.
