| Abstract | The Career Interest Test (CIT; Athanasou, 2000, 2007) is publicly available as a self-administered online test on the Education Services Australia My Future website. Education Services Australia has recently conducted a review of the My Future website. One of the recommendations from the review was for shorter and simpler activities. As a result, Education Services Australia have expressed interest in developing a shortened form of the CIT that provides a reliable estimate of an individual's career interests. The aim of this commissioned research project is to develop a shortened, 21-items form of the CIT that shows reliability when compared to the full version of the test. |
