Description of Exhibition/Event | The Academy Gallery is exhibiting Think Tank - the visual diary in our newly painted corridor gallery space 11 March to 8 April 2011. The exhibition key concept is aimed towards educating our University and Polytechnic students and the wider public in how an artist determines there decision making. The visual diary can be for a specific artwork, exhibition, a commission, or perhaps the drawing, sketch book of central ideas relevant to your artwork. The visual diary can be the one you are working on right now, or a favourite from the past that holds some special significance. I am inviting a variety of artists to be involved, professional and emerging, 2 and 3 dimensional work. With a variety of artists, careers and mediums concerned we will be able to exhibit everything from the quick thumbnail sketch to a full completed working drawing, collage or concept. I would like to invite you to be part of this exhibition. |
